st. louis cardinals stan musial died today. the 92-year-old was one of a spouse greatest hitters and a hall of famer. stan the man as he was called he led the cardinals to three world series championships. he was 92 years old. earlier in the day, we learned that former baltimore orioles manager earl weaver suffered a heart attack in the caribbean last night. many fans agree that weaver is the heart and soul of the orioles. he was the team's manager for 17 seasons and led them to a world championship in 1970. his confrontations and outbursts with umpires were legendary. the fans loved him. >> he has that baltimore attitude. hard work aggressive, but very good sense of humor. >> weaver remains the orioles winning manager. he was inducted into baseball's hall of fame in 1996. cal ripken junior says the 82- year-old's passion for the game will always be remembered. >> it was revealed this week that the girlfriend he claimed died of cancer on the same day as his grandmother never existed at all. he believed she was real, but had to lie about meeting her in person. >>-- >> espn said th
